For the first time in his career, Stefan Bissegger has been crowned Swiss national champion in the individual time-trial after a dominant victory in Gansingen.
The event had been scheduled to take place earlier this year, however the tragic passing of Gino Mader meant that it was delayed until now. With reigning champion Stefan Kung unable to compete after crashing out of the European Championships, Bissegger was the heavy favourite and he proved why on course, taking a dominant win by over a minute from second-placed Yannis Voisard.
