Stanislaw Aniołkowski makes jump to World Tour with Cofidis in 2024

Cofidis have announced the signing of 26-year-old Polish sprinter, Stanislaw Aniołkowski from Human Powered Health as he makes the jump to World Tour level for the first time in his career.

"I am incredibly lucky,” Aniołkowski tells his new team's official website. "It's a dream come true and I'm very happy about it. I look forward to being able to live up to the goals we have set for ourselves and to show the best of myself.”

In terms of Aniołkowski's prior success, the biggest win of his career arguably came in 2020 at the Polish National Championships. “A fast rider who loves classics and sprints," is how he describes himself. "I really want to fight for my leaders, to do everything to put them in the best position to shine.”

“We have been following Stanisław’s journey and progress for several seasons. His arrival within the Cofidis team significantly strengthens our “Sprint” division. Stanisław already has 5 victories under his belt and we want to enable him to take a step forward at the highest level," adds Cofidis general manager, Cedric Vasseur. "His goal will be both to shine in one-day races and to support our leaders in major events. We also want to introduce him to a Grand Tour to allow him to measure himself against the best. I am convinced that he will very quickly find his place within the Cofidis team”
