Simone Velasco will stay with Astana Qazaqstan for two more years

Simone Velasco is currently in his second season in Astana Qazaqstan and has showed his qualities on several occasions like when he became Italian road champion, but he also won a stage in the Volta a la Comunitat Valenciana. His employer is very satisfied with his performances, which has now led to a contract extension.
"Coming in Astana, immediately I found here a great family atmosphere and my own place. I feel really good in this team. Astana Qazaqstan provided me a chance to make my step into the WorldTour, to ride the biggest races as the Giro d’Italia and the Tour de France. I improved a lot as an athlete, as a rider and now I can look forward, aiming something bigger and more ambitious," Velasco says in press release.
"This season one of my dreams came true – I won the 'maglia tricolore' and this victory means a lot to me. I am ready to keep on working hard to become better and better, together with the team achieving new big results. I know, everything is possible."

- Yes, but it seems fans of such toys, like SUVs think that status is appreciated by far more people than is the case. I think very few are actually impressed by anyone feeling the need to show status this way, it reveals insecurity more than anything else.
