Olav Kooij successfully defended his GP d'Isbergues title on Sunday, beating Matteo Moschetti and Arvid de Kleijn in the sprint to become the first back-to-back winner of the race since Arnaud Démare in 2014.
The Decathlon CMA CGM Team sprinter had been the standout favourite for the 2026 edition and delivered once the long-running breakaway was finally brought back inside the final kilometres.

Kopecký and Lesueur held 35 seconds with 12 kilometres remaining, but the advantage continued to disappear as the sprint teams closed in. Kopecký then attacked his remaining companion with 8.4km to go and briefly continued alone, only to be caught by the peloton around two kilometres later.
