Remco Evenepoel confirmed to race Il Lombardia as he tears up Andorra preparing for the Vuelta a España

Belgian cyclist Remco Evenepoel has barely had time to celebrate his victory in the World Time Trial in Glasgow 2023, who is already back to work and preparing his season finale which, after the Vuelta a España, will contain Il Lombardia.

After a short break in Belgium, the newly crowned champion in the time trial discipline flew to Andorra last Monday to carry out a final phase of training at altitude as part of his preparation for the Vuelta. On this occasion, the talented cyclist born in 2000 will have the opportunity to wear his brand new time trial world champion's jersey again, adding it to the two previously planned appearances in the Vuelta a España.
