Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe adds a key final piece to their sprint train puzzle for 2026

The 2026 season looks set to be an exciting one for Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe. The German squad has already announced the arrival of Remco Evenepoel for next year. The superstar will join Primoz Roglic, Florian Lipowitz, Giulio Pellizzari and Jai Hindley to fight for the grand tours. But the German-Austrian team doesn't aim just for general classifications as their sprinter programme is no less exciting.

In this context, Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe has made official its seventh signing of the cycling market for next season: Jarrad Drizners. The Australian rider will leave Lotto to play a key role in the sprint trains in support of strong duo Jordi Meeus and Danny van Poppel.

For Red Bull - BORA the goal is clear: the beverage team wants to catch up with UAE Team Emirates - XRG and Visma | Lease a Bike. To do so, it knows that competing against the World Tour giants means winning as many races as possible, not just focusing on the grand tours. With Drizners on the squad, the chances of scoring in the sprints are going to be much greater.

Drizners already made a name for himself in the sprint train for Arnaud de Lie who has won seven races in 2025. With this experience the Australian sets out to be a key man in Red Bull - BORA's future victories.

In the official announcement of his signing with Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe, Jarrad Drizners, 26, talks about the new chapter of his professional career:

"I am very excited to join Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe in 2026 and grateful for the opportunity and the team's trust. I'm ready to take the next step in my career and I'm looking forward to working for such incredible leaders," said the Australian cyclist, who already knows what it's like to participate in two editions of the Tour de France and two editions of the Vuelta a España.

Zak Dempster, sport director of Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe, also commented on the arrival of Jarrad Drizners to his team:
