Records tumble in World Championships time-trial as Evenepoel becomes youngest winner and 19-year-old Tarling is youngest ever top-10

Remco Evenepoel has regained the Rainbow Jersey, albeit in a different discipline. After losing the road race title last Sunday, the Belgian has become the youngest-ever winner of the men's elite time-trial World Championships.

The 23-year-old was a winner by 12 seconds ahead of Filippo Ganna, with 19-year-old INEOS Grenadiers prodigy Joshua Tarling rounding out the podium with his own piece of history as the youngest ever rider to claim a top-10 finish in the men's elite time-trial.
