Primoz Roglic will not compete in the
Clasica San Sebastian on Saturday. The Basque one-day race had been listed as a possible destination of return for the Slovenian who had to abandon Tour de France in the second week. However he's not present on the final lineup of
Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe and now there are doubts also about his possible Vuelta a Espana start.
Roglic crashed hard in the twelfth stage of the Tour de France. On the day, he still rode to the finish, but it was clear that the following stages were the least of his concerns. The 34-year-old Slovenian broke a vertebra in his crash, as it turned out later. This means that his participation in the Vuelta a Espana is still uncertain.
Even without Roglic, Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe fields a strong team for the Spanish classic with Sergio Higuita, Roger Adria and Daniel Martínez among selected.
