Il Lombardia's startlist starts to take shape. Jumbo-Visma have made their decision on who will lead the team, Primoz Roglic is the chosen leader for the Dutch team at the final monument of the season.
The Italian classic, which has had it's route recently confirmed into Bergamo - with a climber-suited route - will see a clash of Slovenians. Tadej Pogacar will try to win his third Lombardia in a row but Roglic should race both in there and at the Giro dell'Emilia, RTV SLO reports.
It is likely that Roglic, after finishing third at the Vuelta a Espana, will be the sole leader of Jumbo-Visma at the Italian Autumn classics then, taking into consideration Jonas Vingegaard and Sepp Kuss' efforts throughout the past two months riding both Grand Tours - in the American's case, all three.
