On the 31st of March the women's peloton tackles one of the most important races in the calendar. The Tour of Flanders is on the road, and the best classics specialists in the world will be looking to grab this prestigious win. We take a look into it's profile.
162 kilometers on the menu starting and finishing in Oudenaarde, the women's race in Flanders features a finale just as tough as the men's event. The race is categorized by it's 12 cobbled sectors and several other paved ascents.
They are the Flandrien bergs, which every year provide for a lot of emotion and spectacle. The race concludes with the famous Oude Kwaremont-Paterberg duo which leads to the flat run-in to Oudenaarde where a great champion will be crowned.
