On the 25th of January we've got the second European road race of the season on the road. In Spain, more particularly the Valencia region, we're going to have the Gran Premio Castellón where many sprinters and classics riders can fight for the victory. We preview the race ahead.
The race will be 171.4 kilometer long, in the north of the city of Valencia. It starts in Castellón de la Plana and finishes in the town of Onda, following a relatively hilly route. Ordinarily, we should have a fight between the sprinters for the win, but the organizers have put in a small ascent (5Km; 4.5%) finishing with only 11 kilometers to go where some attacks can certainly take off to success.
Prediction Gran Premio Castellón 2025:
*** Michael Matthews, Ivan Garcia Cortina
