After five years with Jumbo-Visma,
Pascal Eenkhoorn tried a change of environment and joined just-relegated
Lotto Dstny. And as far it seems that the cooperation has been more than successful. The Dutch rider podiumed Volta Limburg and later completed Amstel Gold Race in nice 18th position. Frankly, just after that, Eenkhoorn caught Covid and had to take an unplanned break from bike. He talks about this and more in an interview for WielerFlits.
Just as Eenkhoorn felt well again, an altitude training in Sierra Nevada was waiting for him. "It was quite busy there," Eenkhoorn laughs. “There was Jumbo-Visma, Soudal Quick-Step, AG2R Citroën, Arkea-Samsic, UAE Emirates and then us." However it seems as the Lotto Dstny rider found some good legs at the camp as he finished 11th in GP Aargau last weekend.
