"Participating at the Tour de France is my childhood dream" - Hugo Page sees the fruit of his work with a Tour de France nomination

Hugo Page continued an upward trajectory in his rider development during his second year at the World Tour which culminated first professional victory at Tour de Limousin and four top-10 finishes during his Grand Tour debut. Now in his third year with Intermarché - Wanty, even greater goal is ahead of Page who will try his best at the French Championships just ahead of his start at the Tour de France.

"I took a big lesson from last season, in which I have seen highs and lows: you always have to persevere and focus despite difficulties. I started very well in Australia, then glandular fever caused incomprehension when I did not perform at the same level in the classics. With the team’s help, I got back in shape until I finally got my first pro win and achieved several top ten places at the Vuelta a Espana, my first Grand Tour."

"This season I will receive the honour of participating at the Tour de France, a childhood dream. Before that, we will line up with a nice team at the start of the French Championship in Normandy. I will also be part of the group for the classics, in which I will regularly race alongside Biniam Girmay and Laurenz Rex, starting with the opening weekend in Belgium."
