Caja Rural - Seguros RGA's Venezuelan national champion sprinter, Orluis Aular has been announced as not taking to the startline ahead of stage 13 at the 2023 Vuelta a Espana.
The 26-year-old has been competing in the first Grand Tour of his career and came close to taking a win on stage 7, finishing second behind Geoffrey Soupe. The reasons for the Venezuelan's departure of the race are not yet clear.

- I don’t think he is very well advised in-house, whether that is because they’re happy for him to do things this way or whether he just isn’t good at taking advice, I don’t know and it probably doesn’t matter, not until he will reach a “bad” patch because as many before him discovered, it can be very long to climb out a bad patch if you don’t know or accept what will help you get through it.Mistermaumau21-04-2025

As to putting Remco at Pogs level at grand tours he is no where near in the high mountains. He won the Vuelta yes good result but there was no big hitters there .
