In the new UCI WorldTour Ranking, as has been the case since very early phases of this season, UAE Team Emirates - XRG stand on top. While the Emirati team may not be on the trajectory to repeat its 40,000-point haul of last season, they still maintain a comfortable lead.
Tadej Pogacar, after winning the Tour de Suisse, has banked another big haul of points. Isaac del Toro, established in the individual top 3, reinforces a structure that scores consistently in Grand Tours, stage races, and classics.
In second place, Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe holds firm as the main alternative to UAE’s dominance, but without closing the gap. Their points come from multiple sources (in particular through their dominant showing at Tour of Slovenia), yet they remain miles off their "direct" rival for the first position.
The podium is rounded out by Visma | Lease a Bike, still one of the WorldTour’s steadiest outfits in collective output, but without the points explosion that makes the difference at the top and far from what they were five years ago. Jonas Vingegaard’s solid second place in yearly ranking after his Giro victory is key to this.
In fourth sits Decathlon CMA CGM Team after a steady climb up the rankings. Notably, Paul Seixas’ impact stands out as he remains in the individual top 10, consolidating himself as the young rider with the biggest influence in the 2026 UCI standings.
Continuing its steady progression up the ranks after a lackluster spring, Lidl-Trek climbs one spot to fifth. Meanwhile XDS Astana Team drops to sixth after few more silent weeks (still a stellar campaign for them).
Further back, Bahrain Victorious and INEOS Grenadiers hold their top-10 places without structural changes, but with very different vibes. The Brits remain the year’s major disappointment.

INEOS in severe struggle

The most telling case in that group is INEOS who, despite staying eighth, show a clear disconnect between expectations and results. The team’s reality this season is negative in points efficiency terms: riders like Oscar Onley, Kevin Vauquelin, and Carlos Rodriguez are not delivering at the expected level in the overall ranking. Onley and Vauquelin have slid notably in the individual list, and the team is not offsetting those losses with sufficient secondary contributions, which explains their stagnation in the team top 10.
The British team's points account has been boosted by Tobias Foss' unexpected surged to a 4th place overall at Tour de Suisse. And while Artem Shmidt's national time trial title added a positive narrative to the team's otherwise bleak season record.
For Soudal - Quick-Step and Alpecin-Deceuninck, the pattern differs: they remain highly efficient in classics and stages, but with less impact in general classifications or sustained accumulation compared to more complete structures.
