Nairo Quintana aims towards success at Giro d'Italia and Vuelta a Espana, team yet to be announced

Nairo Quintana is yet to announce his team for 2023, however he's hinted that it is up to the team to make the reveal. The list keeps thinning down on teams which would be possible to sign the Colombian, and many point towards Intermarché - Wanty - Gobert Matériaux.

"We are preparing to have a good year and it will possibly be the Giro and the Vuelta a España," Quintana said in an interview with W Radio. It is believed that he has already signed with the team, and that planning is already underway with the World Tour team. However, no revelation has been made yet, with EF Education-EasyPost, Bahrain - Victorious and Astana Qazaqstan Team recently dropping out of the run - allegedly - after being rumoured.

"I have been fortunate to have my body in good shape and we are on our feet for the future, I am not tired yet, I am not finished," he continued. After testing positive for tramadol during the Tour de France, the Colombian underwent severe difficulties to find a contract at the highest level, after his deal with Arkéa Samsic was broken.

An announcement is expected soon, and the 32-year old is already having in his mind the coming season.
