Movistar announces its '7' for Murcia and Figueira with the expected debut of Rémi Cavagna

Movistar Team is having a great start to February with wins for Will Barta in the Volta a la Comunitat Valenciana and Fernando Gaviria in the Tour Colombia. This week the races are piling up and the team has announced its riders for two races to be held this coming Saturday, the Vuelta Ciclista a la Region de Murcia and the Figueira Champions Classic.
Thus, the main novelty will be the debut with the blue jersey of one of the star signings of Eusebio Unzué's team, the Frenchman Rémi Cavagna, who will race in Murcia together with Will Barta, Davide Formolo, Gregor Mülhberger, Javier Romo and Gonzalo Serrano.
In Figueira, Portuguese Ruben Guerreiro will be the leader of a strong squad with Pelayo Sánchez, Iván Romeo, Carlos Canal, Johan Jacobs and Antonio Pedrero as other strong contenders for the win.

- Mads Pedersen is an absolute beast. He really didn't look like he'd make it up that last climb, but he dug very deep, and was there when it mattered in the end. Three stage wins in the first five stages is very impressive indeed.

- True, but, Mads has a few more years of collection and his season’s tally will start levelling off whereas Jonas’ should be just starting so even if Mads overtakes him, it’s probably briefly. - Yeah, “little guy” who already beat Groenewegen and Merlier ;-) Also love how the media overhype anything in cycling, TNT saying this was a HUGE win for the team, let’s go back to using superlatives corresponding to reality. An important win maybe but c’mon, 50 points more than second when we’re at 20000? Had the team gotten 4th 5th and 6th and missed the podium completely they’d have collected more points but NO-ONE except themselves would have written one single word about their performance.
