Valentin Madouas has won the fifth and final stage of the Tour de Luxembourg. He beat Mattias Skjelmose and took the victory.
The breakaway included Sander Armee (COF), Pierre Rolland (BBK) , Joel Nicolau Beltran (CJR), and 14 Felix Gall (ACT). The group of four worked together to take a lead of over 2 minutes and 35 seconds.
However, the peloton caught the breakaway 12 kilometers before the finish line. In the end Valentin Madouaswas the first to climb to finish and take the victory. Mattias Skjelmose followed soon and secured second position. Kévin Vauquelin satisfied himself with bronze. Mattias Skjelmose is the overall winner of the tour.
