Marianne Vos has won the second stage of the
Tour of Scandinavia. Vos edged against Emilia Fahlin to make it her second stage victory in the tour.
No rider was able to create a gap at the start of the race. Vos led the peloton till 10 kilometers before the finish line. Alison Jackson crashed two kilometers from the finish and could not sprint.
Emilia Fahlin (FDJ-Suez-Futuroscope) started the sprint early and almost crossed the finish line. Still, Vos was not going down quickly as she counterattacked with a sprint and crossed the finish line ahead of Fahlin. Emilia Fahlin secured the second position while Barbara Guarischi took bronze. Vos continues to lead in the general classification thanks to her second-stage win.
