Uno-X Pro Cycling Team are looking to reinforce their team into 2024, and after the clear interest in Andreas Leknessund, the team is also eyeing another rider who's been at great display in the Giro d'Italia:
Magnus Cort Nielsen.
The news do not come as a surprise. The 30-year old is without a contract still for next season and Uno-X is looking to ride into World Tour level in the coming years, using Norwegian and Danish riders only which has so far been their strategy. Nielsen is one of Denmark's most successful and versatile riders and it doesn't come as a shock that Gazzetta dello Sport sources indicate that he could make the move this winter.
This would be after Alexander Kristoff who's made the move to lead the team in the sprints and some classics. Cort Nielsen is a stage winner on all Grand Tours, besides a victor in many other races. Although he can sprint his talent lays further in the hilly races and breakaways - a mix which has seen him take a win on stage 10 of the Giro d'Italia.
