Lorena Wiebes sprints to victory in second stage of Simac Ladies Tour

Lorena Wiebes has won the second stage of the Simac Ladies Tour. She beat Laura Tomasi and Lonneke Uneken to secure the victory.
The breakaway included Georgia Baker, Lieke Nooijen and Senne Knaven. The trio worked together and started with a small gap of 40 seconds and increased it to 1 minute and 45 seconds in the next twenty kilometers.
Senne dropped back to the peloton 40 kilometers before the finish, and soon Lieke joined her. Soon Georgia was also caught by the peloton. Lorena Wiebes once again proved to be the fastest in the peloton and secured her second consecutive win. Laura Tomasi took the silver while Lonneke Uneken managed to grab the bronze. Lorena Wiebes is also the overall leader.
