Tadej Pogacar managed to win his second Tour of Flanders yesterday, and Lance Armstrong has no doubt that he is the best cyclist ever.
"Every time you have to talk about him you shake your head in disbelief, but he's just that good, he's just that good, that special. I think we all have to agree that this is the greatest cyclist of all time."
The Texan, in his podcast The Move, reacted to the Slovenian's triumph in De Ronde with his colleagues Bradley Wiggins and George Hincapie and made it clear that it cannot go unnoticed that a rider of his characteristics has won the Flemish monument twice already.
"What he's doing, no matter what you see, he's always there. For a rider of his style, for him to have won 2 out of 3 Tour of Flanders is just incomparable."
Lance asked Wiggins directly if he agreed that unquestionably "we're going to call him the GOAT."
The Briton thinks Pogacar's current form is amazing and that if he keeps it up he can get close to Eddy Merckx's incredible numbers.

"Tadej right now just equaled Eddy in number of Tour of Flanders with his second win. Give him another five years to see if he can surpass Eddy Merckx in Tour de France wins, obviously he would have to win another four Giro's and a Vuelta. Mind you, the thing about Tadej is that every race he goes to he goes to win and he wins it in his style and that's something we haven't seen since Eddy Merckx."
Wiggins insists that nothing has been seen like this since Merckx, "We've never seen this since then, the ability to be able to dominate from January to the end of the season, if he can keep it up, he can pass Eddy as the best. He's racing in his own way:
