Jumbo-Visma has announced its complete Tour de France team. The team is focusing on balanced selection for different stages. The Dutch team is expected to be the main challenger of defending champion Tadej Pogacar, and will be lead by both Primoz Roglic and Jonas Vingegaard who have just came off a dominating performance at the Critérium du Dauphiné.
After contracting a stomach illness at the recent Tour de Suisse, Rohan Dennis will be unable to assist the squad in the Tour de France. Van Aert will support his team’s GC hopes, he has already confirmed that he will target the green jersey for the first time in his career. The team's composition seems to be well balanced, with Steven Kruijswijk and Sepp Kuss providing cover and support in the mountains, whilst Tiesj Benoot balances his efforts between support of van Aert aswell as the team's GC ambitions with the leading duo.

Besides protection in the flat and classics-like stages, Christophe Laporte and Nathan van Hooydonck have also been awarded with a place in the Tour lineup as they'll be crucial supporting riders for van Aert.
“We have several ambitions, so we have chosen riders who are the best at different terrains. We have to guide our leaders safely through the first hectic week but also be able to make it difficult for the other Tour favorites in the mountains. Wout also deserves sufficient support in his hunt for stage victories and the green jersey. This squad is fit and, in our view, capable of pursuing our ambitions in the best way possible.”Merijn Zeeman said in a statement released by the team.
Jumbo-Visma for Tour de France: Wout van Aert, Primoz Roglic, Jonas Vingegaard, Sepp Kuss, Steven Kruijswijk, Christophe Laporte, Tiesj Benoot and Nathan Van Hooydonck.
