Jasper Philipsen has won the 107th edition of the Kampioenschap van Vlaanderen after an incredibly close sprint finish between three former race winners in Belgium.
After the breakaway was caught with around 15km to go, it seemed set that a bunch sprint would be concluding the Belgian one-day race once again. A crash with just over 10km to go then threatened to scupper some teams leadout plans.
Into the final kilometre, it was Soudal - Quick-Step, Alpecin-Deceuninck and Team Jayco AlUla battling for the front and as all three of Fabio Jakobsen, Jasper Philipsen and Dylan Groenewegen launched a three-way photo finish was needed.
