Lidl-Trek is busy strengthening its selection for the coming cycling season, but the American formation is also retaining the necessary riders for longer.
Julien Bernard and
Jacopo Mosca will also race for the team of manager Luca Guercilena in 2024 and 2025.
"For me, there was no doubt about staying with the team. I spoke to Luca early in the season and we were able to come to an agreement in two minutes. I'm really proud to continue riding for the team because they gave me the confidence already four years ago when they signed me, and I have really found my place in this team. I’m happy to be working for the Team and to help our leaders at whatever race we’re at. I’d always like to take a win, but for me this is not the main goal. I want to improve so that I can help my teammates even more," says Mosca.
"This contract will see me spend 10 years of my career together with this team. I’ve said it before but in 2015 Luca and the team gave me my chance and believed in me, and so far, step by step, they have helped to build me into the rider I am now. I have seen the team improving every year until reaching our best season so far, this year. I am convinced that the best remains ahead of us," adds Bernard.
