Ivan Garcia Cortina beats Matej Mohoric to take victory in Gran Piemonte

Movistar rider Ivan Garcia Cortina has won the Gran Piemonte. He beat Matej Mohoric and Alexis Vuillermoz in the final sprint to take the victory.
The breakaway included Marco Tizza, Andrea Pietrobon, Kamil Malecki MALECK and Matteo Jorgenson. The group of four took a lead of 4 minutes and 50 seconds at the start of the race. The gap was reduced to under 3 minutes after 70 kilometres of ride.
Tizza and Pietrobon were dropped from the group 55 kilometers before the finish line. The peloton was back to its original size in the final five kilometers. Ivan Garcia Cortina was fastest in the final sprint and took the victory. Matej Mohoric finished second while Alexis Vuillermoz took the bronze.

My bike is slow, my legs are slow, I'm so much slower than I once was, and I love every moment of being out on 2 wheels. My enjoyment of the sport has nothing to do with how good the pros are. Any athlete treating this remotely like an amateur sport (in terms of weight training, nutrition, lack of altitude camps, and so on) will not succeed. Same with Paris-Roubaix, which together with Flanders had the racing start much, much earlier than before.
