Israel - Premier Tech confirm that Chris Froome will start 2024 season 'later'

Israel - Premier Tech are set to sign INEOS Grenadiers DS Roger Hammond, and in words to GCN team's general manager Kjell Calström has provided insight into Chris Froome's onlook into the 2024 season.

Whilst there was no set date, Calström confirmed that Froome will begin his season 'later'. Ever since joining the Israeli team, Froome made his season debut at the UAE Tour, Settimana Internazionale Coppi e Bartali and most recently the Tour Down Under. The January start to the season didn't seem to benefit the Briton, and so the team will go back to a more regular plan. Froome is likely to stay in Europe and begin his season somewhere along the month of February and March, as he looks to build up to the Tour de France once again.
