Isaac del Toro has done it again, to storm his way to the win on stage 3 of the 2025
Tour of Austria, out-climbing his rivals on the Gaisbergspitze.
After the breakaway of the day were caught with 34km to go, the peloton's focus turned firmly towards the big final climb of the day at the 7.5km Gaisbergspitze ascent. On the climb,
UAE Team Emirates - XRG were, much like have been doing at the Tour de France, controlling things at the front of the peloton, as rider after rider struggled behind, diminishing the size of the lead group slowly but surely.
As the slopes reached their sharpest point towards the summit, the first big move came from INEOS Grenadiers wonderkid
Andrew August though, flying past the UAE train with 1.2km to go. With the finale in sight, August was joined by a countering Isaac del Toro, and in the end it was the Mexican that took the victory.
