INEOS Grenadiers reaffirms its relationship with Pinarello for at least 3 more years

INEOS Grenadiers has officially confirmed the renewal of its partnership with Pinarello, extending for three more years one of the most successful and long-lived partnerships in the world of professional cycling. Since the team's founding in 2010 (then under the name Team Sky), Pinarello has not simply been a bike supplier, but a true strategic partner in the development of high-performance technology.
For more than 15 years, this partnership has been synonymous with innovation, precision and historic victories. Together, INEOS Grenadiers and Pinarello have conquered multiple Grand Tours, World Championships and Hour Records, pushing engineering and design to the limit in every competition, whether road, mountain or cyclocross.
Sir Dave Brailsford, sport director of INEOS Grenadiers, expressed his enthusiasm for this renewal: "Pinarello has been part of our story from day one. What defines this relationship is genuine collaboration and a shared belief that technology, elite performance and attention to detail can achieve extraordinary things."
Brailsford also highlighted the role of Pinarello president Fausto Pinarello and his team, recognizing the influence of his legacy and passion for cycling in the development of bicycles that have revolutionized the sport.

From Treviso, the president of the iconic Italian brand also welcomed the continuation of this synergy that has generated some of the most memorable moments in modern cycling: "I am delighted that our partnership will continue. With INEOS Grenadiers we have achieved incredible things: world titles, records, and successes in all kinds of disciplines. This collaboration feels completely natural because we share the same ambition to win."

In addition, Pinarello stressed that the bond between the two entities transcends simple sponsorship. The relationship is based on mutual trust, the constant exchange of ideas and an open mind to new technologies and materials that keep the team at the forefront of performance.

- If we look at the major wins of grand tours, monuments, and world championships, then de Vlaeminck is sitting on a total of 11, all of them monuments, and Van der Poel is sitting on a total of 9 (8 monuments and a world championship). If we add cyclocross, well, we have stats there, too. (Pogacar, tied with Coppi at 17 total grand tours, monuments, and world championships, is way beyond de Vlaeminck by now.) Sometimes I think that what's happening is a guy was astonishing in what is by now his long-gone youth, and has waited decades for someone to surpass him, got used to the idea that nobody would (other than his buddy Eddie who was never normal anyway), and now this upstart Pogacar and this narrow-focused Van der Poel show up, doing things de Vlaeminck and Merckx never dreamed of (like winning 14 of the last 16 monuments between just 2 people) and suddenly he has to recognize that his decades of being on top might not mean what they used to mean.
