Incredible streak of 21 straight victories for Team SD Worx brought to an end at the Tour de Suisse Women

After Eleonora Camilla Gasparrini took victory on stage 3 of the 2023 Tour de Suisse Women, the 21-year-old Italian brought to an end a historic winning streak for Team SD Worx.

For 21 straight races that they had started, the all-conquering Team SD Worx had emerged on the top step of the podium, quite often with a rider in second or third as well. Through the likes of Demi Vollering, Lotte Kopecky and most recently Kata Blanka Vas and Marlon Reusser, the team had been unstoppable. But in a thrilling finale to stage 3 of the Tour de Suisse, it was Eleonora Camilla Gasparrini of UAE Team ADQ that took the win.
