Juan Sebastián Molano has achieved a prestigious victory in the
Grand Prix de Denain after getting into the winning group in the last kilometers and overcoming with great clarity his breakaway companions in the final sprint.
"I'm very happy, today I had very good legs, the team very well, we have always been well positioned going into every stretch of pavé, I'm very happy, thank you, thank you, thank you for making it possible," Molano said in a post-race interview. "It was a good race, a beautiful battle at the end, I had good legs for the sprint and for the pavé, I'm very happy, this victory is for my team, the staff, my family, my girlfriend."
