In an interview with the Marca newspaper, four-time Vuelta a España winner Roberto Heras talked about the record that Primoz Roglic could beat if the Slovenian wins one more, as well as Tadej Pogacar and Jonas Vingegaard's expected Tour de France battle.

"In principle he is not coming. But then he might be. He's a rider who can win a fifth Vuelta if the conditions are right. It wouldn't hurt me," Heras said of the Slovenian rider. "The records are there. For me it's a source of pride if he equals me and, if he wins the fifth, it will be deserved".

Roglic should be racing the Giro d'Italia and Tour de France this year, leading Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe in both races and being a very strong contender to win the pink jersey in Rome next spring.

On the great rivalry of the moment, the one between Jonas Vingegaard and Tadej Pogacar, Lance Armstrong's ex-teammate at US Postal explains that he believes the Dane has a chance to beat the Slovenian again in the Tour de France:

"It depends on Vingegaard, on his level. In the Tour he can stand up to him and even beat him, but we have to see how he recovers. It's a nice rivalry. But he has to be at 100 percent to be able to beat him. If he has a good season, Jonas will be at his level in the Tour".

Finally, he is asked by Nacho Labarga about the moment of Spanish cycling, the difficulty that there are many teams racing the big races and the future that cyclists like Juan Ayuso or Carlos Rodríguez can have. He believes that the Valencian has options to do great things in the future if he continues with his progression:

"Cycling has become more internationalized. Before there were eight Italian teams and many Spanish teams. Now it's more difficult to have so many dominating. But in every WT team there is a Spaniard who can be close to a podium. We will see. Ayuso has great potential and Carlos has also shown it. But I think that Juan, if he continues in this upward line, is a rider who can have room for improvement".
