Harm Vanhoucke to Team DSM - " I am curious to see how I will improve as a rider and what I can learn from the team "

After spending 4 years with Lotto Soudal, Harm Vanhoucke has decided to leave the team in order to join Team DSM. He made his WorldTour debut in 2018 and has unlocked several achievements since.

The Belgian rider looks forward to working with his new teammates and improving his skills. "I was very attracted by the team's coaching and how riders develop," says Vanhoucke. He continues, "It is also a team that has already had many successes in the general classification of big tours. The team also has a lot of knowledge. It's a new step in my career. I am curious to see how I will improve as a rider and what I can learn from the team and from the more experienced riders.”

The rider remained consistent throughout this season. He was second in the Tour de l'Ain, second in the Sibiu Cycling Tour, 11th in Paris-Nice, and fifth in the Tour of Turkey. Team DSM hopes to utilize his skills to fill the gap left by the departure of Thymen Arensman.
