From Jonas Vingegaard’s Maglia Rosa challenge to Jonathan Milan’s fight for ciclamino, this page will follow every major standings change across all four jersey competitions throughout the 2026 Giro d’Italia.

General Classification Standings after Stage 10

Stage 10 did not give Jonas Vingegaard the maglia rosa, but it tightened the Giro around him. Afonso Eulalio survived the race’s only time trial in pink, limiting his losses just enough to remain race leader, but his advantage over Vingegaard has been cut to only 27 seconds. After defending the jersey through Blockhaus and Corno alle Scale, the Bahrain Victorious rider has now also survived the discipline that looked most likely to expose him, but the margin for error has almost disappeared.
Behind the top two, Thymen Arensman was the day’s major GC winner. His second place on the stage lifted him from sixth to third overall, 1:57 down, and moved him ahead of Felix Gall, who slipped to fourth at 2:24 after a difficult ride against the clock. Ben O’Connor also strengthened his position, climbing from eighth to fifth at 2:48, while Jai Hindley dropped two places to sixth after losing time on a testing day for Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe.
The lower half of the top 10 also changed significantly. Michael Storer rose three places to seventh, Derek Gee-West jumped from 14th to eighth after a strong ride, and Giulio Pellizzari stayed ninth despite Red Bull’s illness concerns. Christian Scaroni was the biggest loser near the front, tumbling from fifth to 16th as the time trial stripped away several of the surprises from the first week.
The overall picture is now much clearer. Eulalio still has the jersey, Vingegaard remains the obvious favourite, and Arensman has turned himself into a serious podium threat. Stage 10 did not decide the Giro, but it removed a lot of the noise from the GC battle.

Youth Classification Standings after Stage 10

Eulalio also kept control of the youth classification, where his Stage 10 survival carried double value. The Bahrain Victorious rider remains top of the standings, with Giulio Pellizzari moving up to second at 3:36 after limiting his losses in the time trial despite Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe’s illness concerns.
Markel Beloki also gained a place and now sits third at 4:16, while Mathys Rondel was the main loser near the top, dropping two spots to fourth at 4:45. Davide Piganzoli remains fifth for Team Visma | Lease a Bike at 5:27, leaving Eulalio still firmly in control of the white jersey battle despite Vingegaard cutting his overall race lead.
