Gent-Wevelgem return likely for Tom Pidcock after concussion

After being forced out of Tirreno-Adriatico, it looked as if Tom Pidcock may have been set for a relatively long lay off. Thankfully for the INEOS Grenadiers star, his recovery has gone better than expected with a return to action at Gent Wevelgem likely.

Cycling News report that despite Pidcock being left out of INEOS Grenadiers lineup for the E3 Saxo Classic, with Filippo Ganna taking his place at the head of the team, the recent Strade Bianche winner could be set to return as soon as Sunday in Belgium.
