Richard Carapaz has not suffered from injuries but has only officially started his 2023 season yesterday at Milano-Torino. He revealed his new national champion colours, as he won the Ecuadorian road race national championships back in February.
Pictures captured by Sirotti have revealed his new colours at the start of the Italian race. A pan-flat day in the peloton, it was never suited to his abilities, but the Olympic Champion is looking to gather some race rhythm before aiming his sights at the Volta a Catalunya where he finished second last year.
