From Valenciana to the World Championships, find van Vleuten's 2023 schedule

As a professional cyclist, Annemiek van Vleuten is readying herself for a gruelling final year. Her schedule for 2023 will include competing in the La Vuelta Femenina, the Giro d'Italia Donne, and the Tour de France Femmes, just as she did last season.
Van Vleuten publicly disclosed her competitive program on her official website. She will begin the new season with the Setmana Ciclista Valenciana, set to start on February 16th. The Omloop Het Nieuwsblad on February 25th and the Strade Bianche on March 4th will be her next races, and following that, she will partake in an altitude training camp in Tenerife lasting approximately four weeks starting from March 5th.
After completing her training, Van Vleuten will turn her attention to classic races, commencing with the Tour of Flanders on April 2nd. This will be followed by the Amstel Gold Race Ladies on April 16th, Waalse Pijl on April 19th, and Liège-Bastogne-Liège Femmes on April 23rd. During the month of May, her primary goal will be to participate in her first grand tour, the La Vuelta Femenina, set to occur from May 1st to 7th.
Van Vleuten will recommence her altitude training from May 29th to June 22nd. She will take part in the Dutch road championship on June 24th. Afterwards, she will aim to compete in her second grand tour, the Giro d'Italia Donne, which is slated to take place from June 30th to July 9th.
Upon completion of the Giro d'Italia Donne, Van Vleuten will travel to Livigno for rest before participating in the Tour de France Femmes, set to take place from July 23rd to 30th. The World time trial Championships on August 10th and the Road World Championships on August 12th will mark her final races as a professional cyclist.
