Former B&B Hotels-KTM rider Alan Boileau finds new home with VC Rouen 76- "Goal is to go back to the professionals"

Alan Boileau found himself in a difficult situation after the collapse of B&B Hotels-KTM left him without a contract. As the start of the racing season approached, Boileau made the decision to participate in amateur racing and subsequently joined the VC Rouen 76.

My goal is to go back to the professionals. For that, you will have to be efficient, and I think that the VC Rouen 76 can bring me success in this project. I wanted to get out of my comfort zone in Brittany and discover new races, and the team will allow me that too. I would like to thank the team for their trust", said Boileau.

A warm welcome to the Frenchman is extended by Jean Philippe Yon, the team's sports director. “We are very happy to welcome Alan to our structure. He will be very important to us for our program, especially in the hilly races, where he will be a team leader.”

“Alan also allows us to replace Damien Girard, who left for Team Nice Côte d'Azur. We will do everything to give him the means to express himself in order to serve as a springboard for him to find the professional peloton", concluded Yon.
