Florian Sénéchal wins dramatic finale to French nationals

The French national championships had an exciting finale, as Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl Team's Florian Sénéchal has taken the French title after winning the final sprint out of a reduced group.

The decisive move was made inside the final ten kilometers where Benjamin Thomas attacked with Florian Sénéchal. The duo attacked off the peloton, and later saw Anthony Turgis, Axel Zingle and Warren Barguil bridged across. Thomas looked to launch Zingle to the sprint, but a plan that didn't work as Sénéchal quickly came through, and just barely managed to hold on to take the win beating Turgis at the line.
