Florian Senechal relaxed ahead of Paris-Roubaix: "I've always felt good on the cobbles"

Becoming something of a Paris-Roubaix regular, Florian Senechal will take to the startline at the Hell of the North for the 9th straight edition. A former 6th placed finisher in 2019, the Frenchman is relaxed about his chances of success this time around.
"Hell is probably the big race I can finish on the podium. I've always felt good on the cobbles," the Soudal - Quick-Step man tell AFP. "Roubaix is ​​my region, the story of my childhood, the race I watched with my father," says the 29-year-old, Cambrai born rider.
Despite not having had the best of season's so far, still waiting for his first win of the campaign, Senechal is quietly confident about his condition entering Paris-Roubaix. "I did everything right. I changed my usual preparation to do fewer races and more training in Spain. My numbers are the best since the start of my career, all that's missing are the results."
"I feel very strong mentally," he continues. "In this race, I feel much less stress than in the other events," Senechal concludes.
