On Sunday, cycling fans will once again turn their attention to one of the most iconic races on the calendar: the Tour of Flanders. Known as Flanders’ Finest, this Monument is synonymous with drama, endurance and unforgettable moments.
The 2026 edition promises another spectacular battle, featuring nearly 280 kilometres, 12 climbs, and 6 demanding cobbled sectors — a course designed to separate the very best from the rest.

A Historic Duel on Flemish Roads
All eyes will be on Mathieu van der Poel, who has already claimed victory three times (2020, 2022, 2024). A fourth win would make him the sole record holder in the history of the race.
Standing in his way is none other than Tadej Pogačar. The reigning world champion returns to Flanders aiming to add another victory to his previous triumphs in 2023 and 2025.
With two of the sport’s biggest stars going head-to-head, predicting the outcome is far from straightforward.
