Ethan Vernon has won the second stage of the Tour of Slovakia. He was fastest amongst his rival in the final sprint and crossed the finish line first. This is his second victory in the tour.

Diego Pablo Sevilla Lopez (EOLO - Kometa), Jasper Haest (VolkerWessels Team), Marcin Budzinski (HRE Mazowsze Serce Polski), Nik Cemazar (Adria Mobil), Bryan Olivo (Friuli ASD), and Matús Stocek (ATT Investments) managed to form the breakaway with an advantage of 1:50. They worked together to increase the gap to more than 2 minutes and 50 seconds before coming down to 2 minutes and 10 seconds.

The peloton caught up with the breakaway group except for Jasper Haest, who still had a 20-second lead in the final 10 kilometers. Ethan Vernon narrowly beat Gleb Syritsa to secure his second stage win in the tour. Giovanni Lonardi finished third.
