Equipo Kern Pharma looks for important UCI points at Tour of the Alps

The Kern Pharma Team took a huge blow when the organisers of the Vuelta a España decided not to invite them to an edition that starts at home, in Barcelona. Despite this, they are fighting hard this season to have options again in 2024.

They are now landing in an important race like the Tour of the Alps with quality riders like Pablo Castrillo, Eugenio Sánchez, Giovanni Carboni or Jordi López to try to get UCI points for a better classification. Of course, being present in as many breakaways as possible will again be the main objective, although the team looks for the points as in future years Grand Tours will be limited to the top teams in the rankings.
