Emanuel Buchmann and Sam Welsford return to lead BORA - hansgrohe with 'something to prove' at Tour de Hongrie

BORA - hansgrohe's stars Emanuel Buchmann and Sam Welsford have certainly envisioned themselves in a different country with green-white-red flag at this time of the year, yet here they are, leading the German team at Tour de Hongrie.
This year's edition of the Hungarian 2.Pro race aspires to become the hardest yet, with two days for those who don't fear riding uphill. Stage three will be the biggest test to Buchmann's climbing legs, with return of traditional Gyöngyös-Kékestető (12.1km a 5.6%).
The German champion previously made an emotional comment about team crossing him out of the Giro d'Italia lineup after devoting his preparation to the Italian Grand tour. Tour de Hongrie will provide him a perfect opportunity to prove doubters wrong.
Meanwhile Sam Welsford was removed from the Giro d'Italia selection, after miserable Tour of Turkey where the Australian was unable to leave a mark. Stages 1 and 2 will be a good shot for Welsford to leave behind the Turkish misery and get a fresh start into summer.

- I agree that Ayuso was wrong in doing what he did at the tour, but we don't know everything behind the feud unless they all say honestly what went wrong. If he us such a rat and traitor, which it's a bit harsh, then what is to be said about Soler when he was with Movistar and didn't want to ride for Mas?
