Elisa Balsamo wins final stage of 2024 Setmana Ciclista Valenciana as Marlen Reusser seals overall classification win

A brilliant solo win on stage 2 gave Marlen Reusser enough of a lead to defend and win the Setmana Ciclista Valenciana. In the final day of racing the Team SD Worx-Protime rider confirmed the overall win whilst Elisa Balsamo took her second triumph of the week.
Balsamo was the fastest in the opening sprint of the race, and once again in the final stage. A bunch sprint took place, and the Lidl-Trek sprinter beat Arlenis Sierra and Nadia Quagliotto to the line.
