Cycling rumours: Izagirre brothers to reunite for 2024 season?

Gorka Izagirre and Ion Izagirre are one of the most recognisable brothering duos in modern cycling. According to the latest rumours the pair could soon be reunited.

Ion Izagirre has been in good form this year, adding a further two victories to his palmares courtesy of the GP Miguel Indurain and most notably, stage 12 of the 2023 Tour de France. Gorka meanwhile, hasn't tasted victory since 2020.

According to Marca however, Gorka has signed a one-year contract with Cofidis, meaning the Basque brothers would be back together for the 2024 campaign.
