Colombian champion Alejandro Osorio wins third stage of the Tour Colombia

Alejandro Osorio, rider of the GW Erco Shimano team, won the third stage of the Tour Colombia. The intensity was palpable in the last moments of the race, where a crash affected several riders with pretensions for victory.

The circuit of the stage, with a route of 12.9 kilometers around Tunja, presented challenges for both sprinters and climbers, with steep slopes that tested the endurance of the competitors. In this context, the breakaway formed by Santiago Gómez (Team Sistecrédito) and Bernardo Suaza (Petrolike) managed to stay in the lead for much of the race, being caught 50 kilometers from the finish line by the chasing group.

An attack by Richard Carapaz, accompanied by Harold Tejada and Alejandro Osorio, generated a moment of tension among the overall favorites.

However, they managed to catch them and, in a reduced sprint, it was Osorio himself who managed to cross the finish line in first place, securing his position as one of the main contenders in the Tour Colombia.
