Cycling is an international sport that reaches hearts all across the globe. Some countries however have very little presence in the sport professionally, but one more nation joins the upper ranks today.
Jambaljamts Sainbayar, Mongolian national champion, has signed with
Burgos-BH.
Hence a new nationality is now represented at ProTour level. Sainbayar, 27 years of age, joins Aaron Gate in an unexpected transfer of riders who came off very good results very far away from Europe. The Mongolian national champion is also a stage winner at the Tour of Huangshan and the Tour of Iran this year. Whilst the team is keen on it's new rider's climbing abilities, both victories came in the form of sprints where he could also be an interesting figure to follow throughout 2024.
