The Surf Coast Classic marked another day of racing in Australia today, and one for the sprinters. Biniam Girmay of Intermarché - Wanty sprinted to his first victory of the season.
The Eritrean sprinter was the strongest at the end of the hilly classic. The 155 kilometers saw a few attacks and a reduced peloton make it to the finish, in which Girmay beat Elia Viviani and Corbin Strong.
