Jan Tratnik will be at the start of the
Vuelta a Espana this Saturday and that is already a miracle in itself. The Slovenian from
Jumbo-Visma suffered a nasty knee injury in a fall just before the Giro d'Italia, but after a considerable rehabilitation, he still fought for the start in Spain. And Primoz Roglic's compatriot is proud of that.
Through his blog, Tratnik, who also rode the Vuelta a Burgos, gives a glimpse into the process. "Being at the start is already quite an achievement for me. We have an extremely strong team and being allowed to ride says a lot about the confidence the team has in me. I am extremely grateful that I can pin my number on at all in Barcelona. Vamos!"
